REFLECTION ACID BASE TITRATION
MUHAMMAD FARIS BIN ISMAIL SAZEMI D20141067089
First and all, when we were doing this experiment, I
got to know the apparatus that I used during conducting the experiment, for
example, burette and pipette. During conducting the experiment, we did use both
of the apparatus, before this, I always get mistaken between those two, but
after the experiment has conducted, I recognized that both of the pipette and
burette and have distinct differences. During the experiment, our patience and
determined were also tested. This is because, when we conduct the titration of
phosphoric acid with NaOH, it took a lot of time and very small changes were
recorded. That cause all of us to repeat the same processes over and over again
to obtain the desired result. During conducting the experiment, we ought to be
very precaucious about the apparatus we are going to use. When we were going to
use, for example, the pipette for measuring the liquid chemical, we were asked
to wash the apparatus with the solution itself to avoid contamination and so as
to obtain the most accurate result and to minimize the error because we need to
draw a graph for the result.

Good
day everyone, after we have finished our experiment we were assigned to write
on reflection about what we have done, what process that we have go through and
few more aspects.
Since
this is the first experiment for this semester, we were thrilled to work as a
group after haven’t meet each other during the semester break. I felt that our
group did a wonderful job and we distributed the workloads fairly. We were able
to keep an eye on our experiment closely and make sure they were right on
track.
Furthermore,
I’m glad that our instructor being so helpful and this make our experiment run
smoothly. The major benefit of working in a team for me was that it facilitated
learning and enhanced my understanding of the topic. I have definitely gained
more understanding about the topic from my teammate compared to what I have
learnt in class. We discussed about the problems and each of us contributes
ideas on how to solve them.
Last
but not least, our experiment went well. My team members and I felt free to
share our ideas and knowledge with each other, and that definitely made my
learning process more interactive, interesting and enjoyable.
Thank
you.

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone,
this week we conduct the acid base titration laboratory. Where we need to record
the data about how much NaOH that be use to get the pKa value for acetic acid
and phosphoric acid. I need to make a reflection about the experiment that have
been conducted. Thanks to the instructor that help me and give a good explanation
about how to conduct the experiment. We did not have any problem during
conducting the experiment. Besides, I will also like to thank my group member
because give the good teamwork during conducting the experiment. What I learn
from the experiment is that how to use the pH meter in the correct way. I also
know how to doing the titration in the right way. There are many precaution step
that need be taken during conducting this experiment. Before we use the pH
meter to take the pH value of the solution the tip of the pH meter need to be
rinse with distilled water because it really sensitive to the pH . The pH value
that our group get is not same as the theoretical value that state for both
acid, that show that are some error during conducting experiment.
Thank
you.
Levanase (EC 3.2.1.65, levan hydrolase, 2,6-beta-D-fructan fructanohydrolase) is an enzyme with systematic name (2->6)-beta-D-fructan fructanohydrolase. This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction: Random hydrolysis of (2->6)-beta-D-fructofuranosidic linkages in (2->6)-beta-D-fructans (levans) containing more than 3 fructose units. Levanase
